Frequently Asked Questions

1. When can we arrive and what time to do we have to leave? – Our arrival time is between 2pm-8pm and we ask you to vacate your pitch by 10:30 on your departure day.
2. Do you have overnight parking for late arrivals? – No. We do not have parking for late arrival.
3. Do you accept group bookings? – No. Sorry we do not accept group bookings.
4. What forms of payment do you accept? – You can pay by credit card, debit card, cheque or cash on arrival.
5. Do you offer refunds if we leave early? – No. We do not offer refunds if you choose to leave early!
6. Do I need licence for fishing – Yes. You do need licence if you want to go fishing , click here for more information and fishing rules.
7. Do I have to pay for fishing? – Yes. Daily fees; £5 per person  to all our guests who are staying with us, and £6 (1 rod) or £10 (2 rods) per day for non-residents.
8. Can I hire a fishing rod? – Yes. Fishing rods are available to hire in our shop/reception. You can also buy some fishing tackle there.
9. Is there any public transport? – No. Unfortunately there is no public transport within 3miles of the site. We have a list of taxis in the reception if needed.
10. Do you have an on-site shop – Yes. We do have a small shop in our park where you can buy fresh bread, milk, eggs and many other groceries, including useful camping items.
11. How far is the nearest supermarket? – The nearest supermarket is in St. Austell, 6 miles (10 min) drive from us.
12. How far is the nearest pub? – We have 2 lovely, country pubs near us; Hewas Inn in Sticker village (5min drive) and Polgooth Inn in Polgooth village (7min drive).
13. Do you have facilities for charging mobile? – Yes. We do have secure lockers for charging mobiles and IPads. Price for a day £2.50 or £14 for 7 days.
14. Do you have disabled facilities – No, sorry we do not have disabled facilities
15. Do you playground area? – No. We do have a couple of game machine  near reception. We also have giant chess in the beer garden.
16. Do you provide entertainment? – No.
17. Do you accept dogs? – We accept no more than 3 dogs per unit. Dogs banned from the UK as named in the DANGEROUS DOGS ACT 1991 are not permitted.
18. Can I freeze my own ice packs? – Yes, we have a freezer available in our shop/reception.
19. Do you sell gas? – Yes, we sell Calor Gas and Camping Gaz.
20. Is there Wi-Fi access? – Yes, we offer FREE Wi-Fi access.
21. Can we have a camp fire or BBQ? – Yes. We allow Campfire and BBQs in designated areas, off the ground. You MUST use appropriate fire pits/baskets for campfire, which can be hired from our reception for small charge of £3.00 per day.
22. Can we buy logs? – Yes. We do sell logs, disposable bbqs and firelighters in our shop.
23. Do you accept commercial vehicles? – No commercial vehicles are allowed on site.
